Let me personally welcome you to the UNA-USA Austin Chapter website. It is truly an honor to serve as president of this wonderful organization alongside the dedicated team that makes up our Board of Directors. We also extend our thanks to former chapter president and current board member Felora Derakhshani for many years of dedicated service.
The UNA-USA ultimately exists to support the work of the United Nations. As a local chapter, we work alongside other local chapters and the national organization to support those principles of global community and unity that we all hold so dear.
My vision for the Austin chapter – and a vision our entire Board of Directors shares – is to continue mobilizing the entire Austin community to enthusiastically support the vital work of the United Nations wherever in the world it is found. We truly hope you will support our chapter’s efforts by getting involved as the opportunities arise.
